圖書簡介

隨著我國機械、電力行業逐步同國際接軌，國家對既精通英語又掌握一定工程技術知識的復合型、應用型人才的需求也日益增加。而目前市場上專業英語教材覆蓋面過窄、知識點過細、不成體系，無法滿足廣大文科學生和高職高專相關專業學生的學習要求。為此，編者編寫了針對機電行業的《機電工程英語閱讀教程》。
　　本教材分兩大部分，第一部分為“機械工程英語”，第二部分為“電力工程英語”。每部分各包括十個單元，每單元有A、B、C三篇文章。其中A、B篇為精讀文章，配備相應練習；C篇供學生課后拓展閱讀。 本教材由多位長期在教學一線的資深英語教師和相關專業教師編寫，內容從學生的實際出發，充分考試了學生在學習進程中可能遇到的各種困難，各單元注重圖文并茂。
　　本教材屬于專門用途英語（ESP），注意與一般性的科普讀物和專業英語相區分，可供工程類院校的英語專業和其他文科類專業的本科生或高職高專機電專業學生使用，亦可供機械、電力從業人員參考。
