圖書簡介
高等職業教育的辦學宗旨是培養基層和生產第一線技術應用型人才，強調基本素質和技能的培養，注重針對性和實用性，從而造就基本功扎實、操作能力強的復合型、實用型人才。隨著全球經濟一體化、我國加入WTO以及信息技術的迅速發展，國際商貿函電從內容到形式都發生了巨大變化，對人才培養也有了新的要求。本書根據高職院校函電教學大綱，在保留和吸收現有函電教材優點的基礎上，大膽改革教學內容和教學方法，以符合教學大綱確定的培養目標以及國際貿易的發展趨勢。
本書按進出口業務環節的先后分章編寫，用較為通俗的英語系統介紹國際商貿函電的基本格式、寫作特點、國際商貿過程的各個主要環節及每個環節所涉及的代表性信函；編入了常用合同及單證，通過實例使學生了解合同及各種常用單證的格式，以加強學生用英語處理進出口業務往來函電、簽訂合同和制作單證的實際操作能力。
